hi! & 2022 update

Well, hellooooo! It’s been awhile. Like a long, long while.

I’m not going to lie, I haven’t really thought about this space much in the past year (a whopping THREE blog posts in 2021, ha!). And when I did, I debated whether or not I should delete it.

My world is completely different than when I first started this blog many, many years ago (almost a decade!). My style has changed, my views and opinions have changed, my interests and hobbies have certainly changed, the industry itself has changed.

However, for me, 2022 is all about the simple joys…lighting my “good” candles, wearing the bag that usually sits in my closet because I’m too scared to ruin it, 2pm coffee breaks with the mugs that typically sit on the decorative shelves, reading, taking walks…

So, I made a promise to myself to see if this (blogging!) is something that still brings me that joy. I’ll be attempting to use this platform again when the mood strikes. I don’t have a ton of free time and so if I’m going to spend time on my blog, I want the content to be meaningful and helpful and honestly, fun for me to create.
