Just in case you’ve been wondering about my eating habits lately, I’ve had pizza the last 3 days in a row.
We had some friends over the other night and because I’m pretty lazy these days, we got Angelo’s for dinner. I was quickly reminded that it’s probably my favorite pizza place in Cleveland. I know I have some others to check out (I’ve heard Crust in Tremont is pretty good) but for now, when a quick weeknight dinner is my choice, I’m choosing Angelo’s.
What I love:
- Obviously, the pizza. Their original option is thick but not too thick and they also offer a deep dish option that I’ve never tried. The sauce is a little sweeter and the crust is literally out of this world. Pizza is my go-to choice but they also have salads, sandwiches, wings and pasta.
- There’s only one location (on Madison in Lakewood) and it’s super cute. You can eat in the restaurant, order takeout or get delivery. I’ve eaten in the restaurant a couple times and the service is always great! Most of the time, however, I pick it up on my way home from work and bring it home. If I’m being totally honest, at least one piece is always missing by the time I get there.
- On Mondays, pizza is half off (in the restaurant only). Can’t beat that deal!
