Back to school shopping + a fun event at Beachwood Place!

I can’t believe it’s almost time for back to school shopping! And this year, I’m actually shopping for a kid going to school…HOW?! Greylen starts preschool in a few short weeks and though I’m not ready for summer to be over at all (I feel like it just started!), I’m excited for her to have some more structure in her days. To kick off the back to school season and get some shopping done while all of the great sales are going on, we had a day of fun at Beachwood Place. 

Zara has always been my go-to for kids clothes. You just can’t beat their styles and their prices. And, I especially can’t get over their sale right now….I got ALL of this stuff for Greylen and Nixon (plus a scarf for myself!) for $100! That leopard print jacket! The camo pants! I want it all in my size. Kids don’t know how good they have it with the styles these days!

Beachwood Place is also home to baby/kids Gap, Hanna Anderson, Nordstrom, H&M and a ton more, so you can literally get all of your back to school shopping done in one trip!

Let me tell you what I’m not above…bribery. I told Grey if she listened while we shopped, we’d go to the Lego Store. Silence! She still loves the little Duplo sets and I love them because Nixon can’t choke on them…score! The whole store is actually kind of an experience with interactive stations, hands-on demonstrations of some of the products and build your own sets, too. It’s a lot of fun!

The Beachwood Place area also has a ton of new kid-friendly dining options, including one of my favorite Cleveland taco places, Bomba Tacos & Rum. If you’ve never had their churros, run, don’t walk, to try them. And yep, if you were wondering, that IS marshmallow dipping sauce.

On August 3 from 2-4:30pm, Beachwood Place is hosting a free, family-fun event to kick off the school year. They’ll have giveaways, entertainment and a meet-and-greet with Reile Downs of Nickelodeon! If you spend $250 or more, you’ll receive a special back-to-school bundle including a $25 gift card. The last event I took Greylen to at Beachwood Place was such a blast and I’m sure this one will be as well!
