bridesmaid gifts i love

Bridesmaids play a big role in a wedding and it’s nice to give them a little something to say “thanks!” before the big day. Check out these bridesmaid gifts (some that I’ve given and some that I’ve received) for some ideas!

Something personalized
Nothing says “I appreciate you!” like something personalized. Whether it’s a monogrammed bag or hanger (my friend MADE the ones pictured in this post!), or simply a handwritten note, you can definitely tell a lot of thought went into a gift when it has a personal touch.

Pampering
Being in a wedding can become expensive so instead of a gift, consider taking some of the financial burden off the bridesmaids and contributing a little to each person’s hair, makeup or nails! It’s always a nice little treat to be pampered!

Something for the wedding day
You can’t go wrong with something useful like jewelry, a clutch or some lipgloss for the wedding day. The best part is that most of this stuff can be used by your bridesmaids over and over again! Kate Spade and JCrew Factory always have the best earrings and bracelet options and they always have sales. Sign up to receive their emails as soon as you get engaged!

A comfy outfit to get ready in
The wedding day is usually a long one for the wedding party and, especially if your bridesmaids are getting hair and makeup done, it usually means an early wakeup call. It’s so fun having something comfy to get ready in and even more fun when everyone matches! Plus, cute outfits always make for the best getting ready photos. My trick (especially if you have a big bridal party!) is to look for something on sale (like cotton rompers, pj sets, robes, big t-shirts or men’s dress shirts) and take them somewhere local to get monogrammed. I was able to find the shirts I bought for my bridesmaids for $5 and spent another $5 to monogram them. So affordable!
