celebrating ohio wine month
June is Ohio Wine Month…always a celebration I can get behind! Can’t believe it’s been one whole year since my #stayhomeohio wine tasting (such a fun project!). This year, I was actually able to venture out to some wineries to celebrate! My sister and I had a “day” and went to Nauti Vine and The Winery at Wolf Creek in the Akron area.
The pinot noir was my favorite!
Enjoying the view at Nauti Vine! Definitely a casual environment with a upper and lower patio area, tables/umbrellas, and some light food options (we tried the pizza and the pretzels!).
There are two types of people in this world – ones who get wine at wineries and ones who get 32 ounce buckets of rum. They also had wine slushes that looked delish!
My favorite flight of the day at The Winery at Wolf Creek (I loved the Cabernet Franc). That view, too!
We loved the vibe at The Winery at Wolf Creek – picnic tables and a gorgeous view.
If you’re in the area, also check out Sarah’s Vineyard. They have a full food menu in addition to drinks. We tried it last year and it was so fun!
I’ll gladly use Ohio Wine Month as an excuse to sip Ohio wines (find a winery near you here!) all month long – I had dinner at Gervasi last week (SO GOOD!) and am headed to Geneva this week. Cheers!
