my favorite boots + where to get them

When it comes to boots, I find myself grabbing for the same ones over and over again. Here are my favorites and where to find them!

Black Boots
My Frye Engineer 8R boots are my go-to casual black boots. I have always loved Frye boots and these are no exception. They tend to be more on the expensive side but if you take care of them, they truly last forever. I actually have another pair of Frye boots that I got on eBay for super cheap so you can always try your luck there before buying full price! Buy them here.

Camel Boots
I think camel colored boots are some of the most versatile boots ever (see my tips for purchasing them here!). I got the Sam Edelman Penny boots last fall and they were on heavy rotation all through the winter. I have the ‘whiskey’ and they are the perfect camel color. Just make sure you waterproof them the second you get them. The only downfall with camel boots is that they easily show salt and snow stains. Buy them here and here

Rain Boots
You already know I love my Hunter boots for rainy (and sometimes snowy!) days. I have the classic pair in black and the ‘Tour’ pair in green. I prefer the Tour pair because they are foldable and feel a little less bulky. Both of my pairs are tall but they also come in short (mid-calf) and shorter (ankle). For some reason I’m always drawn to the matte version but they also come in a shiny finish as well. Buy them here, herehere and here.

Snow Boots
I also talk about my Sorel Tivoli boots a lot but I can’t help it…I’m obsessed. They are the BEST boots for keeping warm during the worst of the worst winter weather days. If you wear a small enough size, check out the kid’s options (seen below). They are cheaper! Buy them herehere and here.

Check out this post for Sorel boots and some similar styles.

Black Booties
These are the newest shoes in my collection. I had been on the hunt for the perfect black booties for awhile and I couldn’t be happier with this Jeffery Cambell pair. I feel like they are easily dressed up or down and they are super comfortable, despite the heel! Buy them here

Tan Booties
A long time favorite, I got my Sam Edelman Petty boots on sale a couple years back at Nordstrom Rack or TJMaxx. I have the ‘putty’ color and it’s a really unique shade of tan. I’ve styled them with jeans, dresses and maxi skirts…definitely a versatile buy! Buy them here and here.
