gifts for the home decor lover

Happy November! Can you believe its almost time to think about holiday shopping?! I’m trying to get my shopping done kind of early this year or at least spread it out a little so we aren’t buying everything all at once. I’m planning on publishing some gift guides throughout the next couple weeks so if there’s anything in particular you’d like to see, leave a comment and let me know!

First up, gift ideas for the home decor lover! This is so top of mind for me this year since we are still in the process of decorating our house. Giving and receiving gifts for the home is so fun! Here are some of my picks:

Perkie Prints
We added Perkie Prints to our playroom recently and I’m obsessed! Basically you upload a photo of a pet or child and they create a beautiful, black & white print for you. I love that these function as art and photos of loves ones! You can choose from a hard copy, a framed print or a digital file. I got the digital file so I could print a couple of each in different sizes but a framed print would be such a fun gift. Be sure to order soon as they have a 2-8 week lead time.

Welcome mat
Welcome mats are so easy to switch out so you can never have too many. I love this onethis one and this one.

I love our letterboard! We use it for special occasions, countdowns and just funny everyday quotes.

Tiered tray
The longer we have our tiered tray, the more I realize how functional it is. It could be used for serving/entertaining but we use ours as a kitchen island centerpiece. It would be fun to gift the tray and then a couple things to go in it (kitchen towels, a mug, a candle, etc.).

Holiday decor
I actually stole this idea from someone in line at Michael’s the other day. She was buying a ton of Thanksgiving and Christmas decor on sale and told me that she was gifting it to her sister as a housewarming gift. I thought it was the cutest idea ever. This would be great for someone who just moved into their first home!

Coffee table books
Coffee table books are something I constantly look at but never feel like buying for myself. I always thought this one would be fun to have and you know I have had my eye on the new JT book. A city-specific book like this one is always a good option too!
