goldfish swim school (the perfect gift for kids!)

For the past several weeks, we have been spending our Tuesdays at Goldfish Swim School in Fairview Park. They offer swim lessons for kids of all ages and Greylen is enrolled in their Mini 1 class. From the second you walk in the door, Goldfish Swim School is bright and inviting…it feels like summer in there even though it’s freezing outside! I especially love the colorful, tropical dressing rooms and little tiki bar hair drying station.

Greylen loved being in the water all summer but, I will admit after the first class at Goldfish Swim School, I wasn’t sure we were going to make it the full 6 weeks. That last picture, though. That one was taken during her 3rd lesson and she was all smiles! It may have taken a couple of times but Grey is absolutely loving her class now! She gets so excited when we walk in the door. I attribute it to her amazing teacher and the consistency week after week. She is pretty shy but she has definitely warmed up to everyone in her class and now seems to know what to expect. It has been so fun to watch her come out of her shell!

In addition to classes, they also have open family swim hours (they have an extended schedule over the holidays that you can check out here) and they are offering a really cool gift package for the holidays. It includes 2 months of swim lessons, the annual membership fee, a towel, stuffed animal and swim toy. Everything is wrapped in a big bucket so you don’t even need to do anything – just pick it up! I don’t know about you but I love giving experiences vs. tangible gifts. Grey just might be continuing her lessons as part of her Christmas gift this year!

All in all, we have really enjoyed our time at Goldfish Swim School and love that she is learning an important skill while having a ton of fun! Definitely check them out in Fairview or Warrensville Heights!
