red, white and blue with rent the runway

In honor of the RNC taking place this week in Cleveland, I’ve teamed up with Rent the Runway to share some red, white and blue looks with all of you. Regardless of your political views, there’s never a bad time to incorporate some patriotism into your wardrobe!

Rent the Runway is truly genius (I wish I would have thought of it!). If you’re not familiar, it’s is an online service that allows you to rent designer dresses, clothing and accessories at a fraction of the retail price. So, say you have a special event coming up (wedding, wedding shower, graduation, vacation, etc.). You simply choose a dress or an outfit and some accesories and RTR sends it all to you (along with a return label and bag) for as long as you need it (4 or 8 days). They even send a free second size just in case the size you selected doesn’t fit. So simple! The service has, and continues to, get me through many wedding seasons. I also just learned that they offer overnight shipping, too, so if I ever run into a fashion emergency, I know who I’m turning to!

I absolutely loved this Milly dress. I mean, when else am I going to have the opportunity to wear a $595 dress?! The pattern is super fun and I love the criss-cross back (shown below)!

dress: Elliatt c/o rent the runway ($195 retail, $50 rental)

The Elliatt dress was perfect for a wedding we went to and truly fit like a glove. It was so fun to wear!
