stripes

As soon as I put this blue and white striped dress on and stood in front of this brick wall, I knew it would be the perfect look to share for the 4th of July. Stripes are so in right now and I especially love them in blue and white – so convenient and festive for this weekend!

You’ll probably notice these photos are a little better than my usual photos. That’s because my girl Colleen from Colleen Schmidt Photography took them! It was about time for some new professional photos for the blog and Colleen was the perfect woman for the job. I LOVED working with her. She is currently living in Toledo but does work all over, including Cleveland (in fact, she’s from Cleveland so it’s one of her favorite places to shoot!). Colleen specializes in weddings but as you see here, she can do pretty much anything! We met in Ohio City and she had so many ideas (you’ll see more photos taken by her in the next couple weeks!) and made me feel so comfortable in front of the camera. As you can probably tell from my laughing and smiling, taking these photos was FUN and that was all due to Colleen.
